Bohinj, the waterfalls

Un'altra vista del lago di Bohinj.. Non riesco a togliermelo dalla testa.. Vicino al lago ghiacciato si possono visitare le cascate "Mostnice". Sono situate a 4 Km dal lago e dovete camminare sulla montagna per vederle. Il sentiero è facile attraverso il bosco, ma è stata dura raggiungere le cascate andando attraverso il bosco con tutta quella neve. Partendo dal lago si può visitare il cimitero della Prima Guerra, nella foto si vede il cancello mezzo innevato. Dopo si può andare avanti per 4Km con la macchina e seguire a piedi un sentiero lungo un pendio scosceso. Ogni tanto ero un po' preoccupato per il sentiero perché, cadendo giù, ci si ferma nel fiume che sta nella gola sottostante. Comunque, la camminata sul sentiero innevato ci ha dato la possibilità di vedere un fantastico panorama sulla vallata, e le cascate con il lago naturale da esse formato. Si può vedere quanto alto è il sito e la magnifica vista che si ha sul lago ghiacciato in mezzo alla fotografia orizzontale.





Another view of the lake of Bohinj.. I can't go away from there with my mind.. So.. near the frozen lake you can visit the "Mostnice" waterfalls. They are situated 4 Km far from the lake and you must walk on the mountain to see them. Simple is the path through the wood, but harder is get the warterfalls site with a lot of snow like we found. Starting the trip you can visit (not in wintertime!) the World War I's cemetery, you can see in the picture its gates, the first half is under the snow. After that you can go by car for 4Km and walk following a path on a steep slope. Sometimes I was a little troubled about the walk, because if you fall down, you stop your fall in the river down the gorge. Anyway, the walk in the snowy path gave us the possibility to see the beautiful panorama on the valley, and the falls with the natural lake formed by them. You can see in the pictures how high the site is and what beautiful view you can have from there onto the Bohinj's lake just in the middle of the orizontal picture.
