Dinosaur (Torvosaur)

Some days ago I went to see the work of Zac, an archaeologist; he is working for a firm that "repair" real dinosaurs. That dino arrived from the state of Wisconsin, they repaired the breaked bones and set up the missing ones using a particular material. After that the dino was shipped to Qatar. Seeing these creatures is really exciting!

Lussingrande

This is the small village where my mother was born. Its name is Lussin Grande (Veli Losinj), it is situated on the isle of Lussino (Losinj), Croatia. She was born into that yellow house that you see in the middle of the picture above, now a restaurant, but years ago it was a residence of Hapsburg Counts where my grandma was working for. Also, a pic of the fantastic sea you can find aroud the isle.

Bled and Bohinj (part two)

Near Bled, you can find the biggest slovenian lake, it's called Bohinj. This lake is really fantastic, with its emerald waters. It is situated in the Triglav National Park. Triglav is the biggest mountain of Slovenia, it has three peaks; the name triglav means "three heads". Retourning back to the lake, it was made from a glacier and its main feeder is the Savica river. Another mountain near the lake is the Vogel, where there is a beautiful sky center. In every season you can practice a lot of summer and winter sports, you can ride horses, or mountain biking, paragliding, archery, canyoning, fishing.. and eating various and tipical tasty dishes.

Bled and Bohinj (part one)

There are two lakes, Bled and Bohinj, which are situated in the region of the Julian Alps, in the north-weast of Slovenia; I love to go to spend my holydays or my weekends there. Last year I visited Bled and Bohinj during the winter holydays.. Today three pictures of the first one, a lake with a little isle inside, it was created by the glacer of Bohinj, during the last Ice Age. Bled has some thermal springs and it's well known for its curative waters.

BORA

There is a icy wind from the east that blows here in Trieste during the winter days called "Bora". It doesn't blows every day, but when it comes it can be very powerful, with gusts up to 200Km per hour! The gusts are not from the same direction, and it hasn't the constantly blow.. it can turn his power to kick you down, everytime, and everywhere.
During these days every scooter or motorbike can fall down, so we must pay attention where we leave it. The windows must be closed otherwise people could be wounded by the crashed glass falling down in the streets.
I think everyone should try this fabolous wind, even if just for one day.

Photoblogs

Sometimes I surf to other blogs with beautiful shots and I see they are without comments (or with few ones) and sometimes I see blogs with shots not so good like the past ones, but with a lot of positive comments like "awesome", "great", "this blog is gorgeous"... and so on. I want to specify that I'm not asking for more comments here by my friends, but I'm thinkin' to the mistery of the people that write a comment surfing the blogs.. What is the real reason they had before they left their comment? Why do they write, and then they follow a blog, without good pictures?
Here is three blogs I visit, and I look their pictures, just to learn:
The Daily Sashin
Urban Space
Black and White
