Aikido Weekend 1/2

Questo weekend sono stato allo stage aikido al dojo di Torino. Il dojo è bellissimo, ed è immerso nel verde. Davanti al dojo c'è un piccolo stagno artificiale in stile nipponico e trote all'interno. Dentro, oltre ad un grandissimo spazio tatami, c'è una palestra e un negozio fornitissimo di articoli per arti marziali che stupidamente non ho fotografato. Nei due giorni d'allenamento si sono svolti anche esami per cintura nera I e II dan.

The past weekend I participated in the aikido national stage in Turin. The dojo is beautiful, and it is situated between a peaceful green zone. In the front of the dojo there is a little artificial pond in japanese style with some trouts inside. Indoor the dojo there is a gymnasium for body building and a big shop plenty of martial arts items. In the two days of the stage there were also exams for black belts I and II dan.

Devo dire che queste foto sono il primo e vero esperimento di questo tipo di macro, non quelle del latte. Dopo una decina di giorni senza vederle devo dire che le trovo più interessanti della prima volta che le ho viste. Mi piace guardarle, forse perché adoro certe tonalità dei colori blu.

I must say that: these photograph were the first experiment of the macro shots, not the milk ones. After ten days without watching them I must say I find them more interesting than in the first time I saw them. I just love to see them all, maybe because I love them for the blue colours.

Milk

Durante la serata ho provato a scattare delle foto macro, usando un treppiede e una tazza di latte. L'unica cosa che non mi piace è il colore delle immagini, con dominanti blu o gialle. Credo dipenda dal bilanciamento del bianco, e dai flash della mia macchina (non possiedo flash professionali o macro-flash).

During the evening I tried to get some photographs about the macro shots, using a tripod and a cup of milk. The only thing that don't make me very happy is the colours of the shots. I tried to get a good white balance, and I retouched the pictures with curves and layers using Photoshop, but I really don't love the colours, with a blue or a yellow dominance. I think the problem is the initial balance and the flash of my camera (I don't own a professional flash or a macro-flash).

The Moon Trapped Under Ice

Ancora alcuni scatti ghiacciati. La foto a lato è la "Luna intrappolata nel ghiacchio", fatta in notturna sempre vicino alla piscina. Le altre sono dello stesso set pubblicato ieri.

Again some ice shots. The black one is the moon trapped under ice, I did the night shot in the same place near the pool. The other ones are from the same set I published yesterday.

New Year's Ice

Ciao a tutti sono tornato!
Sono stato parevvhio occupato tutto il periodo natalizio tra lavori e appuntamenti vari e non ho aperto i miei computers per tutto questo tempo. Ma ora sono qua per iniziare un nuovo anno con voi, scambaindo le foto che ho fatto nei giorni passati.
Voglio solo dirvi "buon Natale e felice anno nuovo!", hehe scusate il ritardo! :)
Quest'anno ho iniziato a pubblicare immagini più grandi che l'anno passato, spero saranno tutte di vostro gradimento; la risoluzione è attorno ai 1035 pixel di lunghezza. Queste immagini sono state scattate attorno ad una piscina scoperta e ghiacciata. Le foto 3 e 4 sono i vetri della mia macchina, l'ultima foto sono impronte delle galline che giravano per i bordi piscina.

Hello my friends I'm back again!
I was so busy with my work and various engagements during all the end of the year period, and for that I did not open my computers for days. But now I'm here to begin another year with you, sharing some of the photos I did in the past days.
So I just want to say you all "have a nice Christmas, and a happy new year!" heehee I beg your pardon for my late! :)
This year I began to publish bigger images, I hope you will enjoy them all! These images you see are taken around a frozen outdoor swimming pool on the countryside, the pictures 3 and 4 are some particulars of my car's glasses, while the footprints are from the chickens walking around the swimming pool's borders.
