Last year I was walking back to home and I met these guys and their bikes!

I love fiorentina!

Molto spesso in questi ultimi anni ho potuto provare l'esperienza di mio suocero per la costata alla fiorentina. Ogni volta che vado da loro almeno una serata è dedicata a questo piatto che per me non è altro che un semplice invito a nozze. Ovviamente per me la fiorentina supera sempre il chilogrammo, ben alta, e cucinata al sangue, grondante, come piace a me. Si comincia con un primo antipasto di pane alla griglia con qualcosa sopra, e dei bicchieri di prosecco dei migliori. Si passa poi alla fiorentina, accompagnata da varie verdure grigliate, talvolta funghi raccolti nei boschi, radicchio di treviso, il tutto accompagnato da fiumi di vino del trevisano, o anche di quello istriano che porto da loro in damigianette da tre litri. Dopo cena se io ho ancora uno spazietto mi dedico al dolce, per poi passare al classico caffé e grappa Nardini invecchiata.. una delizia per il palato. Una rotondità sempre maggiore per la pancia!

Very difficult for me the translation of this post, due to my inadequate knowledge in the english language. But I will try, as usual. Often during these years I had possibility to taste his excellent experience in cooking the T-bone steak, here better known with "fiorentina". Every time I meet my parents in law we dedicate one dinner to this special dish. He is very supreme in the art of the barbecue and for me a fiorentina is an invitation to a wedding (as we say here in Italy). The T-bone for me is always up to one kilogram (2.204lb), cutted high, and very red, as I like. Before dinner we go for some garlic with sauces, and some glasses of the famous prosecco (a dry wine of the Veneto region). After that we are ready for the fiorentine steaks with beside some grilled vegetables, a particular red chicory of Veneto region, or some wild mushrooms, all drinked by a fabulous red wine from Veneto or from the croatian Istria region. After dinner if I want something more I can go for any cake, a good italian coffe and the Nardini's grappa, the aged one, delicious taste for who loves the classic italian cuisine!

Un sacco di tempo è passato dall'ultimo mio accesso.. e siccome ieri sera Elio e Lisa me lo hanno fatto ben notare, colgo occasione di ascoltare le loro "lamentele" e cerco di rimettermi in carreggiata! Purtroppo sono talmente indaffarato dal lavoro che appena avevo un po' di tempo non riuscivo a starmene sul blog a raccontare dei miei interessi in moto e fotografia. Comunque spero mi perdonerete tutti e continuerete a frequentare di tanto in tanto questo mio diario virtuale che, almeno al momento, mi costringo a tenere aggiornato. Le foto che posto ora sono inerenti alla Bike Expo di padova. Una bella giornata, seppur prossima allo zero, che io e altri amici abbiamo fatto in moto per andare a trovare gli altri, che dall'Italia passano ogni anno a vedere "che c'è di nuovo". In moto da Trieste saranno 200Km, quindi non troppo come viaggio, ma sempre divertente farlo in inverno con gli altri compagni di strada.

So much time passed away since I was here last time.. I'm very sorry my friends but I'm so much engaged with my business that I'm always very tired to set up pictures and stuff to tell you. I hope you will forget me and you'll rest in touch with my own blog ;)

I have not a lot of things to write here, because the work doesn't permit me to follow my interests in bikes and photography, but now I'm going to post some pictures I did in the last Expo I visited in January. I went there with other friends, by bike and for a 200km trip, even if the cold was near the zero the day was great to meet all the old friends from all aroun Italy.

Back Again??

Ciao a tutti son tornato!
Sono veramente spiaciuto per la mia lunga assenza in questi mesi ma sono molto occupato tra il mio lavoro e altri impegni di vario tipo.. il mio spazio su Flickr non ha ancora nuovi posts.
Attualmente sto lavorando per delle foto che saranno pubblicate su un nuovo libro del Gruppo Generali; devo fotografare una 60ina di quadri di vari artisti del passato. Nello stesso tempo lavoro alle mie solite pubblicazioni e sto per lavorare ad un archivio fotografico storico in digitale.
Durante tutti questi mesi ho fatto delle foto che vorrei postare in futuro, spero di avere il tempo sufficiente a farlo.

Hi all! I'm back!
I'm very sorry for a long silence but in these months I'm very busy with my business and other engages.. My space on Flickr have any new posts yet.
Actually I'm working for a new book, I'm going to photograph sixty paintings of various artists of the past. At the same time I have to paginate my usual pubblications and I'm going to work for a photo-digital-historical archive.
During all these months I did some shots and I need to post some pictures on the blog.
As usual I'm sorry for my "brutal-maccheronic" english! ;)

Aikido Weekend 1/2

Questo weekend sono stato allo stage aikido al dojo di Torino. Il dojo è bellissimo, ed è immerso nel verde. Davanti al dojo c'è un piccolo stagno artificiale in stile nipponico e trote all'interno. Dentro, oltre ad un grandissimo spazio tatami, c'è una palestra e un negozio fornitissimo di articoli per arti marziali che stupidamente non ho fotografato. Nei due giorni d'allenamento si sono svolti anche esami per cintura nera I e II dan.

The past weekend I participated in the aikido national stage in Turin. The dojo is beautiful, and it is situated between a peaceful green zone. In the front of the dojo there is a little artificial pond in japanese style with some trouts inside. Indoor the dojo there is a gymnasium for body building and a big shop plenty of martial arts items. In the two days of the stage there were also exams for black belts I and II dan.
