Ciao a tutti! Tornato dal soggiorno sloveno sto mettendo a posto le immagini e le posterò su un mini-sito, spero di farlo entro la giornata odierna!

Hi all! :) I'm back from the slovenian holiday I had with my girl and I'm preparing just a little htm page with a selection of the pictures I did.. I hope to have it prepared within today!

Trieste

Anche oggi un giro per la città a far qualche foto visto il bel tempo.. domani parto per quattro giorni per le Alpi Slovene, finalmente una vacanza.. un saluto a tutti i miei amici :)
Ma prima di concludere la giornata, una buona Guinness con un caro amico!

Today I was around my town just to take some photographs.. tomorrow I will go to the Slovenian Alps for a four days holiday, so my greetings to all the web friends I have on my blog :)

Pinguente: a celtic town

Pinguente (Buzet) è una cittadina dell'Istria croata. Posta su un colle, domina la valle del fiume Quieto ed è una cittadina di origini celtiche. La città da anche il suo nome a un birrificio locale che produce una fantastica birra.. il massimo, dopo un panino come quello che mi sono fatto!

Pinguente (Buzet) is a small town situated on a hill in the valley of the Quieto river. Pinguente has been founded by a celtic descent. The town gives his name to a local brewery who produces a fantastic beer.. the best, after a sandwich like I had!

Trieste

Dopo più di due settimane di assenza ho avuto un po' di tempo per farmi una camminata nel centro triestino per fare qualche fotografia, anche se la mia testa è ancora occupata dal lavoro! Le foto sono prese nella zona del Ponte Rosso, zona che si rifà al vecchio ponte che divideva il canale che era stato costruito in passato per dare a Trieste sembianze veneziane; progetto poi abbandonato. Il canale era navigabile da velieri. La statua di bronzo sul ponte è James Joyce, che visse a Trieste per un periodo.

After more than two weeks I have just a few time to go to walk into the little center of my town, just to shot some pictures.. my head is still busy for the work! But let's speak about Trieste.. these pictures are taken in the Ponte Rosso (red bridge) zone, a sea-canal built in the past with similitude to Venice (we are far from it 2h by car). The old project was to build a city like the venetian style but the plan gave up. The name recalls to an old red bridge in the middle of the canal, who was navigable by saliling ships. The bronze statue you see in the picture is James Joyce, he lived in my town for a period.

The square in the fog

Ieri notte una nebbia particolare ha coperto Trieste. Ritornando a casa ho deciso di dedicare alcuni scatti aal grande piazza in fronte al mare. Surreale.

Yesterday night a particular fog covered Trieste. Retourning back to home I decided to dedicate some shots in the big square in the front of the sea. Surreal.
